About the House of C's

What inspired the name the House of C's: The name came from my household. There is 5 of us in my house. Myself (Carrie) My husband (Chris) my 2 boy (Camren & Connor) and my mom (Chris). The fact that all our names begin with C's was done intentionally but has become a source of laughter. Like when the oldest is being bad, I have to go through the whole list of names to get the right one. C also stands for crazy. Having 2 boys 10 months apart definitely means a lot of crazy.

What is this blog about: While I have not found my true niche as of yet, I tend to think that writing about what you know is the most important. What I know is that raising 2 kids in today's world is rough. Especially 2 boys. I know that being a stay at home mom can some times feel like the most unrewarding job in the world as well the most isolating. I know also that I am not alone. Perhaps in time this blog will find a more cornered niche but for now it is just an avenue for me to connect to others and hopefully let others know that the craziness in their life is the same craziness we all go through.

About Me:  I am Carrie, I am 35, live in a tiny town in Tennessee where things like BBQ festivals and Christmas parades mean everything. I am married to a sweet man named Chris. We married in 2009. We have two boys Camren (3) and Connor (2) who were big surprises in our lives. After struggling with infertility etc. they came when we least expected it. They are my world. I am blessed to be a mom and I know it. Growing up I wanted to be a teacher but life and time got in the way. I love photography and used to do weddings etc. I love to read. I am an avid adult colorist. It is the most relaxing thing I can do. My zen.
